Parks and Conservation Areas

We traveled to five different national parks and conservation areas. While there was some repetition of wildlife in different areas, each one was unique in its own way. For example: lions, giraffes and impala were seen in all areas, while rhinos were only seen in Ngorongoro Crater; baboons were prolific everywhere, but the very distinctive Colobus monkeys were only in Arusha National Park.

Parks and conservation areas are presented here in the order that we visited them. Each park had its own distinctive feel and character. Our first stop was Arusha National Park and Moivaro Plantation Lodge.
